Case 1

In this case we contemplate the installation of batteries in the residential sector, action 4 of RD 477/21.

Let's consider the case of a 10 Kwh installation. The aid in the photovoltaic installation would be 6,000 euros (the installed and functioning installation can cost around 11,000-13,000 euros).

In the case of batteries, we can add capacity to this installation based on the ratio of 5 accumulation to 1 installation, as indicated by the RD, in this specific case we can install 50 Kw of batteries. The aid that can be requested for this item would be 490 euros X 50 Kw = 24,500 euros

The cost of our batteries per 9.6 kW unit (48 kW in total) is 3.890 euros plus VAT, 4.706,9 euros, with a total cost of 23.534 euros, and since you can request help from the VAT item, the subsidy to be requested is 23.520 euros.

Performance

Once you have decided to purchase a photovoltaic installation with storage, or add storage to an installation already in operation, the first step is to contact an installation company in your area (if you cannot find one, we can indicate some options for solvent companies). .

The installation company will carry out a study of the action to be carried out and the budgeted cost, and once the budget is accepted, request help. The cost of this procedure is between 100-200 euros. From this moment the client has 3 options:

Carry out the installation in advance of the cost, and wait for the Administration to approve the aid.
Wait for the Administration to approve the aid, carry out the installation in advance of the cost and wait for the aid to be paid.
As in the aid application you can request the advance payment for a guarantee, wait for the Administration to approve the aid, and at that time request the bank guarantee (it has a minimal cost), the Administration advances the amount of the aid, thereby Installation is paid to the installation company. When the Administration makes the payment effective, the guarantee is cancelled.

Likewise, our batteries are registered in the Integrated Industrial Registry with number 3361, so the cost of recycling them (at 13/15 years) is included in the price.

PURSUED OBJECTIVE

Once the photovoltaic installation is in operation, which produces energy during sunny hours, and the incorporation of the batteries, which with the energy accumulated during the day, allows us to use it at night (the more expensive the price of electricity ) and on cloudy days, it is about contracting with a marketer that allows us to use the virtual battery at no cost (accumulate in balance the surpluses not consumed during the month), and also the possibility of including another supply point ( the business, the house on the beach, etc.), and use the balance of the surpluses to reach both invoices, the one at the point of production and the one at the point of consumption, at 0 euros.

Among the marketers that currently allow this system are Lumio, Próxima Energía and Octopus.
